Resident Evil Re:Verse has been delayed until summer. The multiplayer game should have been released on May 7, along with Resident Evil Village. Publisher Capcom has not stated a reason for the delay and has not yet announced a new release date.

That Re:Verse will only be released in the summer is stated on the Resident Evil website. Capcom has not provided further details on that. The multiplayer game was previously announced as a spin-off of Resident Evil Village, and Re:Verse was set to release simultaneously with that game.

Resident Evil Re:Verse is a multiplayer deathmatch game for four to six players. The game is free to play for anyone who owns Resident Evil Village. It is not yet known whether the game will also be sold separately.

The multiplayer game is coming to Steam, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. There is no version of the game with improvements for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Earlier in April, Capcom hosted an open beta with Re:Verse and it has now ended.
