Capcom Announces Street Fighter 6 and Capcom Fighting Collection

Capcom has announced the sixth installment in its Street Fighter franchise with a short teaser trailer. The publisher gave few details, but will announce more about the release in the summer. Capcom also announced the Capcom Fighting Collection.

The Street Fighter 6 teaser trailer features the characters Luke and Ryu competing against each other. It concerns cinematic images and Capcom does not yet show any gameplay images. More details about the upcoming game are not yet available. They should follow in the summer of this year. The previous installment in the series, Street Fighter V, was released in 2016. Capcom sold more than six million copies of the different versions of the game.

Simultaneously with the release of the teaser, the publisher announced the Capcom Fighting Collection. This bundle of ten classic fighting games already has an introduction date: June 24, 2022. The compilation of games will then be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch.
