Canon releases EOS 850D SLR camera at the end of April for 920 euros
Canon has announced the EOS 850D-dslr, the successor to the EOS 77D and 800D from 2017. The new device again has a 24.2-megapixel sensor of the aps-c format, but will get a new image processor and a 4k film function.
Thanks to the Digic 8 image processor, the Canon EOS 850D achieves a shooting speed of 7 frames per second and filming is possible in 4k resolution with 25 or 24 fps. The cmos image sensor has phase detection focus pixels and eye and face detection autofocus can be used during filming or shooting in live view.
The device also has an updated autofocus system for shooting via the mirror and the optical viewfinder. It consists of 45 cross-sensitive focus points and a metering sensor with 220,000 pixels that should enable better tracking and face detection.
The 515 gram camera has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and the tilting 3 “LCD on the back has 1.04 million pixels. Canon will release the EOS 850D on April 20. The separate body costs 920 euros and a kit with EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens has a suggested retail price of 1020 euros.
