Photos of the Canon EOS 1300D have appeared online. In terms of appearance, the entry-level SLR appears to be almost identical to its predecessor, the 1200D. The same applies to the specifications, although the addition of WiFi and NFC is new.

According to digicam info sources, which has published the photos and specifications of the EOS 1300D, the camera will have an 18-megapixel aps-c sized sensor with an ISO range of 100 to 6400 and digital expansion to an equivalent of ISO 12,800. The specification list also shows a Digic4+ image processor, 3fps speed and a 3″ LCD. The camera is said to measure 129×101.3×77.6mm and weigh 485 grams.

The specifications shown are almost identical to those of the Canon EOS 1200D and the appearance of the new camera does not differ from that model, which was introduced at the beginning of 2014. If the list of specifications is correct, Canon will add WiFi and NFC to the entry-level model. It is not yet clear whether there will be more innovations.

Canon has not yet announced anything about the arrival of the EOS 1300D. Digicame-info regularly publishes photos and specifications of new cameras before the official introduction and often the presentation of the manufacturer follows a few days later.
