King, the company behind the popular game Candy Crush, has announced that it is working on a mobile game in the Call of Duty franchise. The game aims to make the console experience social and accessible.

The game developer has put a page online on its website, indicating that it is looking for new employees. These employees are needed for the development of a new Call of Duty game. The page talks about a new team striving to make the familiar console experience fresh, social and highly accessible, while maintaining a high level of authenticity.

What the game will look like exactly is not yet known, although the URL of the page hints at the name Reload. King has only released Facebook games to date, many of which have also appeared on mobile platforms. Other developers have already released several Call of Duty games for mobile platforms, such as the real-time strategy games Strike Team for iOS and Heroes for Android and iOS.

Activision Blizzard announced in 2015 that it would acquire King for $5.9 billion. The acquisition was completed in early 2016. This gave the company access to a user base of half a billion gamers.
