Call of Duty: Warzone for smartphones coming in 2023
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is scheduled to be released in 2023. The mobile version of the battle royale will allow up to 120 players to battle each other. Cross-progression with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 is also possible.
Activision says that the mobile game will return to the original Verdansk, with the stadium still closed. New weapons are also coming to the title. At a later date, the Al Mazrah map of the upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be playable. The game is coming to both Android and iOS. Modern Warfare II, Warzone 2.0 and Warzone Mobile share the same battlepass, allowing players to progress in all of these games.
Other well-known elements are also present, such as Buy Stations and Contracts. Also, the Gulag returns, where players can win a spot back in the match if they survive an arena fight. Scattered around the map are several vehicles to use, including helicopters and quad bikes.
It had been known for some time that Activision was working on a version for smartphones. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will also be released on October 28, 2022 for PC and consoles, and Warzone 2.0 will follow on November 16. Apart from the year 2023, no specific release date has yet been announced for Warzone Mobile.
