Activision has announced Season Two Reloaded for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Among other things, the company is adding a 12v12 multiplayer to Vanguard. Battleroyal mode Warzone will also receive a Rebirth Island Reinforced update for the playing field.

Activision announces the changes in a blog post. The update for Vanguard will be released on Tuesday, March 22, and will include a 24-player game mode called Arms Race. This gives the game a new large playing field in the Alps, which also includes new vehicles.

Players must try to capture all the bases in the Arms Race mode. Once such a base is captured, players can respawn there. Players can also choose to respawn with squad members. Each base is given gates that allow safe passage for the defending team, and they close when enemies are nearby. Furthermore, Vanguard’s ranked system will be adjusted and the best 250 players in the world will be placed in a new division, above Challenger.

The Warzone update will follow on Wednesday, March 23. That update includes changes to the Rebirth Island playing field. The sun shines brighter, which should improve the visibility of the playing field. Also, various points on the playing field are adjusted. Stronghold gets two new buildings and reinforcements have been added in the Prison Yard where players can take cover. The game also gets a new point-of-interest, in the form of a harbor with associated cargo ships.

Furthermore, three game modes will be renewed that are included in a weekly Rebirth playlist. For example, Rebirth Resurgence gets a solo variant and Payload comes back as a 12v12 mode. There is also talk of a Blood Money mode. It’s similar to Plunder, but with bigger cash rewards when players kill other players, even if they don’t have much cash on them. New weapons and camos will also become available as the new season begins.
