‘Business callers mainly use speaker and voice dialing’
The average business caller mainly uses Bluetooth and the speaker function on his telephone. Calling via voice commands is also popular. This would appear from research by Abi Research among 1400 business callers.
According to In the survey, business callers from America, Europe and Asia are interested in the same features. Touchscreens, PDA functionality and QWERTY keyboards aroused the most interest among the respondents. That suggests that business callers are most interested in high-end smartphones.
According to Abi, the big difference lies in the way users in various countries use their device. Asians prefer video services; they like to watch television with their phone. Brits, on the other hand, prefer texting, often not for business. According to the researchers, the device makers should learn from this. For example, large screen devices would work best in Asia due to the use of video, and mobiles with a good keyboard would sell best in the UK.
