Bungie fixes bug and brings Destiny servers back online

Bungie was able to bring the servers for Destiny and Destiny 2 back online after an issue prevented players from logging in. The problems seem to have started early on Friday.

Bungie announced that the servers are back online in a tweet on Saturday morning to have put. earlier gave the company said it found a problem in the core services of the Destiny servers, which forced the company to be taken completely offline to apply a fix.

Players reported on Friday that they could no longer log in to the game. They were shown several error codes, including ‘Weasel’. It should now be possible to log in again, but because many players try to do this at the same time, connection problems can still occur. They should be fixed later on Saturday.
