Bugsnax coming to Steam, Xbox consoles, Game Pass and Nintendo Switch on April 28th
Bugsnax is out April 28 on Steam, the Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and Game Pass for Xbox and PC. On the same day, the game gets a major free update that expands the story “by three to four hours.” The update will be available for all versions of Bugsnax.
The update was already announced for the PlayStation versions and the Epic Game Store version of Bugsnax in October last year, but an exact release date has not yet been announced. It was also not yet known that the game would come to the rest of the consoles, Game Pass and Steam.
Developer Young Horses gives in a new trailer Learn more about what the ‘Isle of Bigsnax’ update will include. After installing the update, the game has added a jungle island, which is inhabited by huge Bugsnax. In order to enter the new island, players must complete certain missions. In addition, the player gets his own hut, which he can furnish himself. The update also includes new puzzles and missions.
Bugsnax originally appeared in November 2020 as part of the launch lineup for the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4 and as an Epic Games Store exclusive for PC. In the game you play as a journalist who is sent to write an article about Bugsnax. As the name implies, the critters are a mix between an insect and a snack. This Bugsnax must be captured as part of the missions you get from various islanders.
