Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Coming to Nintendo Switch With Co-op Mode
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be available for Nintendo Switch on May 28. The Switch version gets a new mode where two players work together. The game first appeared in 2013 and originally only has a single player mode.
The adventure game revolves around two brothers who search for a cure for their father’s mysterious ailment. The game stood out in 2013 because of the way the player had to control two characters with one controller.
The Switch version includes a co-op mode for the first time, in which two players can play at the same time and each can control a character. The ability to play together makes the game easier by allowing players to focus on only one character. The Switch version can also be played in the original way.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was created by Josef Fares, who was later also responsible for prison break game A Way Out. The game first came out in 2013 for the Xbox 360 and later versions for the PlayStation 3 and PC followed. The game has also been released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Windows Phone in recent years.
Publisher 505 Games is releasing the Switch version of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons digitally only. The game is available on the Nintendo eShop for $15.
