Bowers & Wilkins releases the successor to its PX7 headphones. The Px7 S2 again has active noise cancellation, but is slightly more compact and lighter than the predecessor. The wireless headphones use USB-C and do not have a 3.5mm jack.

According to the manufacturer, the PX7 S2 a battery life of 30 hours. The headset replaces the PX7 and is built around new 40mm drivers. They are also the first headphones to work with the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. This allows you to adjust the equalizer settings, among other things. The headphones use Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive code for wireless audio via bluetooth.

Bower & Wilkins equip the Px7 S2 with replaceable memory foam ear cushions. The fit has also been improved according to the manufacturer. The headphones don’t have a 3.5mm input, but a USB-C to 3.5mm cable is included. There are six microphones in the headset for active noise cancellation. According to the manufacturer, these microphones also ensure clear call quality.

The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 is available immediately in gray, blue and black for a suggested retail price of 429 euros. The brand will also release the Px8 later this year. According to the manufacturer, this is a new top model with a ‘high-quality design, luxurious materials and beautiful sound’. Specifications of the Px8 are not yet known, but B&W already let you know that the headphones will cost 599 euros.
