Bol.com increases subscription price Select by 20 percent

Bol.com is implementing a price increase of 20 percent on its subscription service Select. Instead of 10 euros per year, customers will pay 12 euros per year. The price increase will take effect in just over a month and will apply to all renewals.

According to bol.com, the price increase is necessary because the subscription revolves around free deliveries. “Last period, transport and fuel costs have increased. Unfortunately, this also affects Select.” Bol.com announces the price increase in an email to customers who purchase the service and who automatically renew after August 16.

Anyone who extends before that time still pays the old price, writes bol.com on Twitter in response to a customer inquiry. Select has existed as a subscription form for five years and gives customers free delivery on all orders. It is unknown how many customers purchase Select from the webshop.
