B&O releases standard to combine Beosound Stage soundbar with television

Bang & Olufsen has released the Beosound Stage Floor Stand. This is a floor stand to which the manufacturer’s existing Beosound Stage soundbar can be attached, in combination with a third-party television.

The Beosound Stage Floor Stand, according to Bang & Olufsen, has been optimized for use with LG’s C-series OLED televisions with screen diagonals of 48, 55 or 65 “, but the manufacturer says the stand also allows for other televisions with sizes. can be used from 40 “to 65”.

The product uses the VESA standard, is designed for a weight of up to 25.6 kg and has a built-in cable management system. According to Bang & Olufsen, the base of the stand has a 16: 9 ratio that is inspired by the shape of the television to be used, with which the base is supposed to represent a shadow of the screen, as it were.

The Beosound Stage Floor Stand is only available in black and costs 700 euros. Consumers only get the standard for the price; the BeoSound Stage with support for Dolby Atmos, released last year, costs 1500 euros and must be purchased separately.
