Blizzard speaks in ad about artwork of Diablo IV
Blizzard has placed an ad in a German game magazine about a new book with Diablo illustrations. According to the publisher, the book contains artwork from Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III, and Diablo IV. That last game hasn’t been announced yet.
The mention of Diablo IV state in a full-page ad about The Art of Diablo in GameStar, already delivered to subscribers and on newsstands October 23. GameStar itself reports that given the wording, it does not appear to be a typing error
The book is by Blizzard writer Robert Brooks and will be published in November, after BlizzCon 2019, which begins in late October. It is now in the range of Amazon Germany, without mentioning Diablo IV.
The post follows claims by Twitter user Metro_OW that during Blizzcon Diablo IV and a remaster of Diablo II will announce, as well as Overwatch 2. Last year, the user reported the arrival of Ashe to Overwatch, according to the same source.
Blizzard, according to an earlier rumor from Kotaku, scrapped a project for Diablo IV in 2016 to work on a new version. Partly because of this, the company had to make do with the announcement of the mobile game Diablo Immortal last year, which was not well received.
