Blizzard reveals the story of Overwatch hero D.Va

Blizzard has published a new video about one of its Overwatch characters, this time about the mech pilot D.Va. In the video, among other things, the history of her ult is discussed. At the same time, Blizzard is announcing a new map.

The story in the video is set in the South Korean city of Busan, where former progamer D.Va, aka Hana Song, is recovering from a battle with omnics. She doesn’t have long to rest, however, as the city is once again attacked by robots that resemble Sentinels from The Matrix. During the fight, the origin of her ultimate also emerges, which Overwatch players can also use.

Along with the video, Blizzard has published an announcement of a new Overwatch map. It’s, unsurprisingly, Busan. It is a Control map with three parts: Sanctuary, Downtown and MEKA Base. The new environment thus joins the existing Control maps Nepal, Lijang Tower, Illios and Oasis.
