Blizzard Releases Hearthstone Expansion Goblins vs Gnomes on December 9

Blizzard is set to release the Hearthstone expansion Goblins vs Gnomes in Europe on December 9. The expansion was announced earlier at the annual Blizzcon fan show and adds more than 120 new cards to the game.

The cards can be obtained in several ways, Blizzard writes on its blog. Players can get access to the extra cards by ‘making’ them, winning them in Arena mode, or buying them in packs. The developer reports that the new Goblins vs Gnomes packs work in the same way as the already available packs. In addition, a so-called spectator mode is introduced, but players should check the option to use it.

The Goblins vs Gnomes expansion pack will be available in various continents from December 8; Europe will follow a day later. As previously announced, the new cards will be released for Windows, Mac and iPad. Hearthstone should also appear for Android tablets later this month.
