Blizzard Releases Hearthstone Expansion Curse of Naxxramas July 23
Blizzard will release Curse of Naxxramas, an expansion for the game Hearthstone, on July 23. The first part will be playable for free for a month after release. Earlier it was announced that the complete package has to be paid 21.99.
The game publisher announced the release date of Curse of Naxxramas via its Hearthstone blog. According to Blizzard, the release for European gamers will take place on July 23 and the expansion will be available for Windows, OS X and the iPad. After release, the Arachnid Quarter, the first of a total of five parts, will be playable for free. According to Blizzard, this applies until ‘roughly’ a month after the release. After that, you have to pay for it.
Blizzard previously announced the prices for Curse of Naxxramas. The entire expansion pack can be purchased for a price of 21.99 euros. It is also possible to purchase each part individually: that costs 5.99 euros or 700 in-game gold pieces per part. After the release, the Arachnid Quarter will be available first and a new part will appear every week. Blizzard also announced that users who complete the DLC will have access to the Heroic mode, which should make the game a lot more difficult.
