Blizzard has made Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft II Battle.net Edition available via gaming platform Gog.com. The games do not contain DRM and can be played on modern systems.

The digital release of the classic rts games was done by Blizzard in the run-up to the celebration of Warcraft’s 25th anniversary. Warcraft: Orcs and Humans is the first installment in the series as it appeared in 1994. The graphical display or interface has therefore not been adjusted.

Warcraft II Battle.net Edition includes the Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal expansions. Players can choose which version to load upon launch. The multiplayer function is via Blizzard’s Battle.net platform.

The original Diablo previously appeared on Gog.com and Blizzard is also working on a polished version of Warcraft III. This Reforged version should be released this year.
