Blizzard is working on a way for players to replay games in Overwatch. A trial period is underway on a Blizzard test server, but the lookback functionality should also be coming to consoles soon.

Text and explanation regarding the new Replay feature can be found on the Overwatch website, where Blizzard explains that jars can be viewed from all angles and positions. This is possible with the last ten games played, where it is possible to accelerate or slow down the gameplay. When a new game is played, the oldest one is removed from Replay.

Access to the new functionality is available through the Overwatch Public Test Realm, Blizzard’s test server for PC. According to the publisher, Replay is useful for players who want to gain insight into how they can improve their own tactics in order to get better at the game. It is also useful for players who want to put together videos of their gaming sessions. When Replay will come to all players is not yet known, but according to Blizzard it will be soon.

Blizzard has made a number of other changes, including timing issues in the assault maps. The properties of some heroes have also been slightly adjusted.
