Blizzard is working on a new, unannounced Diablo project

Blizzard has posted a vacancy for a Dungeon Artist online. The employee has to start working on a new, unannounced Diablo project. It does not seem to be a port of an existing Diablo game.

The Senior Dungeon Artist vacancy states that the employee will be building “atmospheric dungeons” and modeling the Diablo world. The candidate must have more than five years of experience building and assembling in-game environments.

From that text it can be concluded that the ‘new, as yet unannounced Diablo project’, which the employee will help with, is more than a port of one of the already released Diablo games. Rumors about a port of Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch have been circulating for some time, started in March by Blizzard itself.

In addition, there have been reports for some time that Blizzard is working on a remaster of Diablo II. The company does not deny that it is working on this, but previously stated that the game is not yet suitable for polishing, partly because there is still work to be done on techniques to keep bots and spammers away.
