Blizzard Brings Seasons March 31 to Diablo III for PS4 and Xbox One
Blizzard will release the Seasons update of Diablo III for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next Friday. The expansion for the consoles will be available four years after that for the PC version. The studio has also released a new patch with improvements.
Blizzard explains on a special announcement page what the arrival of Seasons means for console players. Seasons allows players to experience the game as if they were playing it for the first time, including leveling and upgrades. They can thereby create new characters, with items and progress after the end of the ‘season’ become available for characters outside the Season mode.
Blizzard will start releasing the update on Friday, March 31. From then on, the consoles will hook up with Season 10 of the PC and Mac players. Blizzard has also released patch 2.5.0 for Diablo III. This includes new Armory and Crafting Mat Storage features, some tweaks to the Crusader and Barbarian classes, and bug fixes.
