Blizzard Announces Prices Hearthstone Expansion Curse of Naxxramas

The first expansion for Blizzard’s free card game Hearthstone will cost a total of 21.99 euros. The developer announced this on the game’s website. Curse of Naxxramas adds a completely new single player adventure to the game.

The complete DLC will appear in five parts, each costing 5.99 euros; Arachnid Quarter, Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarter and Frostwyrm Lair. The first part will be available for free during the introductory period of the DLC. After that, a new part appears every week. The various parts of Curse of Naxxramas can also be purchased for 700 in-game gold. Gamers can also choose to buy the complete DLC in one go for 21.99 euros.

Players who complete the complete DLC will gain access to Heroic Mode. In this mode, Curse of Naxxramas’ opponents would be quite a challenge for even the most experienced Hearthstone players. Players who also complete Heroic Mode will earn a special back for playing cards that they can use in their normal Hearthstone deck. It is not clear when the DLC will be available exactly, but rumors have already appeared on a number of sites that it will be available in July.
