Developer BioWare will improve the animations of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The first patch will be released on Thursday, which should, among other things, improve lip synchronization. After that, there will be more patches that change the game on many points that have been complained about.

The first patch coming out Thursday will also adjust Ryder’s movements when the character walks in a zigzag pattern. Also, BioWare promises improved rendering of eyes on human characters and on the asari race.

In addition, the patch increases inventory limits, makes it possible to skip the autopilot scenes while traveling between planets on the Galaxy map, lowers the cost of decrypting remnant keys, and makes it easier to obtain from merchants. The studio also promises better matchmaking and lower latency in multiplayer mode. All changes for version 1.05 are described in the patch notes.

With more updates to be released in the next two months, BioWare promises, among other things, improved rendering of characters’ hair. Also the ‘overall appearance’ of characters will be improved. Furthermore, the developer promises more improvements in the cinematic scenes and animations. Also, the options for male romance that Scott Ryder has need to be improved and there will be “adjustments” in the conversations with Hainly Abrams.

BioWare will announce the upcoming improvements for the game released two weeks ago in a message on its website. Mass Effect: Andromeda received much lower marks than its predecessors. This is mainly due to bugs, technical errors and bad facial animations.
