BioWare released patch 1.04 for Mass Effect: Andromeda at the last minute before release. The patch aims to fix some of the many bugs players experience while playing. The studio has promised more patches.

Patch 1.04 is for PC players, among other things, to put an end to black start screens and the problems in combination with the Corsair Utility Engine. in addition fixes the update sound issues and not recognizing the function keys in multiplayer. In addition to the PC version issues, the patch should also fix issues on the PS4 and Xbox One. The release notes were not available at the time of writing.

Furthermore, the game’s producer, Fernando Melo, known that changes have been made on the server side. These must ensure that all Challenges can be completed. Players indicated that this was not always possible. Mass Effect: Andromeda is plagued with bugs, something players and reviewers are reporting on the internet. In response, EA has put a dedicated support page online that offers suggestions on how to work around known issues.

BioWare promises more patches. There are also many complaints about unnatural facial animations in the game. It is not known whether the studio will make any changes. Mass Effect: Andromeda is out March 23. Players with an EA or Origin Access subscription can already play it for several days.
