BioWare has finished development of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf alpha version
Developer BioWare reports that the alpha version of its new RPG Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is ready. This means that the game can be ‘played all the way to the end’. It is not yet known when Dragon Age Dreadwolf will be completely finished.
In a blog post writes Gary McKay, general manager at BioWare, that in the alpha version ‘everything has come together’. “Now for the first time, we can experience the entire game from the opening scenes of the first mission to the end. We can see, hear, feel and play everything as one big cohesive experience,” McKay writes.
However, the general manager emphasizes that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf ‘is far from finished’. The development team will now focus on improving the gameplay and graphics, among other things. The studio will also assess game pace, relationships, player progression and story.
EA and BioWare already announced in 2018 that they were working on a Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. However, little new information about the game has been released since then. In February, BioWare reported that the new Dragon Age title is out of concept and in production, and the RPG’s title was announced in June. BioWare names Dragon Age: Dreadwolf after Solas, a character from the previous titles. He becomes the antagonist in the fourth Dragon Age game.
