Developer Bioware will share a bit more on Wednesday about the status of the upcoming game Dragon Age 4. It has been pretty quiet around the game since its announcement and several key figures have left the team. Bioware assures us that the game is on its way.

In a blog post, Bioware shares more information about the status of the fourth installment in the Dragon Age series. The developer writes that the game is “in the middle of production.” The concept phase for the game was completed last year. We also intend to get more details about the game in the coming months.

We haven’t heard much from the game since the announcement of Dragon Age 4 in 2018, except for a teaser from 2020. After showing this teaser it became quiet again. This may be due to the departure of several key figures from Bioware. Including director Matt Goldman.

In the blog post, the studio also cites the departure of producer Christian Dailey. His duties have since been taken over by Mac Walters who now leads the team. He previously worked on Mass Effect, another major Bioware title. It is not yet clear when the game should be released.
