BioShock Remasters May Be Coming to Nintendo Switch

Publisher 2K Games released remasters of the three games from the BioShock series in 2016. These became available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but according to a rating from a Taiwanese approval authority, the games may also be on their way to the Nintendo Switch.

Released in 2016, The BioShock Collection included remasters of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, including the DLC missions released for these three games. The website of the Taiwanese approval authority shows a display of a rating of The BioShock Collection for the Switch, the website Lootspots discovered. As far as BioShock Infinite is concerned, it would be The Complete Edition.

Publisher 2K Games has not officially announced any information regarding a release of this collection for Nintendo Switch and neither has Nintendo. It is therefore unknown if and when the remasters will come to the Switch.

Born in 2007, BioShock was created by developer Irrational Games, followed by BioShock 2 in 2010 and Infinite in 2013. They are first-person shooters set in colorful worlds, characterized by the combination of shooting and RPG elements, the presence of mystical and philosophical elements, with a strong emphasis on the story. BioShock 1 and 2 are set in the fictional underwater city of Rapture.
