Bethesda Shows Starfield: Shattered Space, Update Adds Mod Support
Bethesda has released new footage from Starfield: Shattered Space. This is an expansion with a new storyline, a new planet, new weapons and new in-game equipment. Bethesda has also released a separate update with mod support for Starfield.
In Starfield: Shattered Space, the player receives a mysterious distress call from an abandoned star station. Out a blog post from Bethesda it turns out that players must travel to the mysterious planet Va'ruun'kai to find out the origin of the signal. They come face to face with new enemies and the minions of The Great Serpent on the planet. Out the trailer it turns out that there is a dark atmosphere in this expansion compared to the regular game. Starfield: Shattered Space should be released this year for Xbox and PC. It is not clear when exactly.
Bethesda has also rolled out a new, separate update for the game: the June Update. The developer is adding mod support to the game through this update. These mods are called Creations in the game. Bethesda has also released the Creation Kit for PC gamers. Thanks to this Creation Kit, gamers can now make official mods themselves. New improvements, bounty hunter features and missions are also added to the game through this update. The June Update is available immediately for Xbox and PC gamers.
