Bethesda releases first DLC Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on December 14
Developer Bethesda has announced that the first expansion for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be released on December 14. This is the first episode called Adventures of Gunslinger Joe. After that, two more episodes will be released.
The DLC called Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, centers on Joseph Stallion, a former football star who faces off against the Nazis in the ruins of Chicago. There are also two other DLC expansions that will put two other freedom fighters at the center of their struggle.
On January 30, The Diaries of Agent Silent Death, in which former OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant infiltrates Nazi bunkers in California to learn more about Operation San Andreas. Then the third DLC, called The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins, will be available in March. This third DLC revolves around an American army captain who has to thwart an operation in Alaska.
These DLC packs are part of a bundle called The Freedom Chronicles. The DLC packs can be purchased separately or through the season pass, which is available for $25. Bethesda has not disclosed how much the individual DLC expansions will cost. These mini-missions together provide about 9 hours of play time.
The season pass also includes Episode Zero, which was released on November 7. This Episode Zero is also available to those who pre-ordered the game. In this episode, the three new characters were introduced. In July, Bethesda announced that a season pass would be coming with three new playable characters, but no release dates were announced at that time.
