Bethesda has added some old games to Steam as the game publisher will soon be discontinuing its own Bethesda.net Launcher. It concerns three games that are now free to download.

The free titles include The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, noted VG247. Also Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory from 2003 will be made available for free on Steam. Bethesda also brings The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard and An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire out on Steam, although those games both cost 6 euros. The Creation Kit for Fallout 4 and the Skyrim Special Edition have also appeared on the platform.

The recent additions to Steam anticipate the closing of Bethesda’s own game launcher. The company announced in February that it would discontinue the Bethesda.net Launcher. Players can start their Bethesda games this week transfer to steam for free by linking the two accounts.
