Bethesda makes Blackwood Chapter available for Elder Scrolls Online
Bethesda made the new Blackwood chapter available for the PC, Mac and Stadia versions of The Elder Scrolls Online on Tuesday. The new chapter adds the new Blackwood area to the mmo.
The new Blackwood chapter is part of the Gates of Oblivion saga that should occupy the players of The Elder Scrolls Online this year. Blackwood was also present in the single-player game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and is an area in the south of Cyrodiil province.
In Blackwood, players will find new Oblivion Gates leading to the realm of the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon. A well-known adversary from previous games in The Elder Scrolls universe
In addition to the new area, the new chapter adds more than 30 hours of story, according to Bethesda. In addition, a new companion system is coming to the game. This allows players to go out with an NPC. These companions help players in combat.
Blackwood comes to console a little later. The version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released on June 8th. This is also playable on the latest generation of consoles via backwards compatibility mode. The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S has been delayed to June 15th.
