Be quiet introduces its Dark Power 13 series with powers of 750, 850 and 1000W. All three power supplies support Intel’s ATX 3.0 specification. For example, the psu’s get an integrated 12Vhpwr connection with 16 pins that can deliver powers of up to 600W and is used in Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 Founders Editions, among others. In addition, ATX 3.0 short-duration power supplies must be able to handle peak currents of up to three times the normal power consumption of a video card.
The Dark Power 13 also gets four separate 12V rails, although users can also use the power supply on a single rail. According to the manufacturer, the latter is intended for users who want to overclock their system. In addition to the 12Vhpwr connection, Be quiet also supplies four more traditional 6+2-pin connections for powering video cards. The power supplies are equipped with a 135mm Silent Wings fan. The PSUs come with a ten-year warranty.
Be quiet will release the Dark Power 13 power supplies on January 24. The 750W variant will receive a suggested retail price of 214.90 euros. The 850W and 1000W models cost 259.90 and 294.90 euros respectively.
