Be quiet has announced the Pure Power 10 power supplies. The power supplies come in semi-modular and non-modular variants and have an 80Plus Silver certificate, where their predecessors still had 80Plus Bronze.

The semi-modular version comes in variants with powers of 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W. The non-modular version adds 300W and 350W. The 400W versions achieve an efficiency of 91 percent and are 80Plus Silver certified. Like their predecessors, the 300 and 350 watt variants have an 80Plus Bronze certificate and an efficiency of 87 percent.

With the modular CM versions, only the 24-pin plug and the 4+4-pin CPU connector are permanently attached to the power supply. All other cables are removable. Except for modularity, there is no difference between the cables supplied with the semi-modular and non-modular versions of the power supply.

The 300 and 350 watt versions come with one 6+2 pin connector, the 400 watt version has two on a single harness, the 500 watt version has two spread over two separate cables and the 600 and 700 watt versions have two cables with two terminals each for a total of four 6+2 pin terminals.

The 300-watt version has four SATA connections, the 350 and 400-watt versions have five and the 500, 600 and 700-watt versions have six. All versions from 500W have three molex connectors, the rest have two. They also all have an FDD connection.

Be quiet gives suggested retail prices for the Pure Power 10 power supplies between 50 euros for the 300-watt version and 105 euros for the 700-watt version. The modular variants are slightly more expensive; the 400-watt version should cost 72 euros and the 700-watt version will have a suggested retail price of 115 euros. They are available immediately.
