be quiet! releases Pure Rock Slim processor cooler

be quiet! comes with a smaller version of its Pure Rock processor cooler. The Slim model should be suitable for smaller housings and has an asymmetrical design so that memory banks are not blocked.

The Pure Rock Slim is 124.8mm high, and has a length and width of 81.8x97mm. According to the manufacturer, the model is designed in such a way that the fan and the cooling fins do not block the memory slots when used on, for example, itx motherboards.

There are three heatpipes with a diameter of 6mm on the heatsink. In combination with the included 92mm fan, the cooler is according to be quiet! capable of cooling up to a TDP of 120 watts. The maximum volume of the fan would be 25.4 decibels. It is a pwm fan with a maximum speed of 2000rpm.

be quiet! launches the Pure Rock Slim immediately on the market for a suggested retail price of 28 euros. The cooler comes with mounting material for Intel socket 1150, 1151, 1155 and 1156. The cooler also fits AMD motherboards with socket AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1 and FM2(+).
