Be quiet introduces Silent Loop 2-aio water cooler for 99 euros
Be quiet has announced the Silent Loop 2; an all-in-one water cooler with radiators from 120mm to 360mm in size. This radiator is equipped with a maximum of three fans with a size of 120mm or 140mm. The cheapest Silent Loop 2 costs 99 euros.
The Silent Loop 2 will be available in four variants, with the smallest three models getting two fans. These are Silent Wings 3-pwm fans that have a maximum rotational speed of 2200rpm. The two fans in the 280mm model spin at a maximum of 1600rpm. At maximum speed, the aio makes about 36.1 to 39.8dB(A) noise, depending on the model. When the fans run at a quarter of their maximum rpm, the aio makes 16.5 to 17.7dB(A) noise. The pump operates at a maximum of 2800rpm.
Be quiet supplies the Silent Loop 2 with radiators of four different sizes, namely 360mm, 280mm, 240mm and 120mm. These are made of aluminum, the cooling surface is nickel-plated copper. The radiator also has a refill port and the cooling block has argb LEDs. This heatsink is compatible with Intel sockets from LGA 1150 and AMD sockets from AM3. A mounting kit is required for the sTRX4 socket, which will be available from June.
The be quiet Silent Loop 2 will be available from April 6. The PhD student with the smallest radiator costs 99 euros. The most expensive Silent Loop 2 costs 159 euros.
