Be quiet introduces new coolers and housing at its twentieth anniversary
The German manufacturer be quiet introduces a new FX line in honor of its twentieth anniversary. It involves several components: a new PC case, an all-in-one water cooler and an air cooler.
The be quiet PC case gets named Pure Base 500 FX and comes with three 120mm fans and a single 140mm fan. All fans are equipped with RGB and RGB strips have also been applied to the front of the cabinet. The fans are the Light Wings argb fans from be quiet itself, which have been available since November last year.
Furthermore, the case is equipped with a USB Type-C and USB Type-A port on the top of the case above the front air intake grille. There is also a 3.5mm jack for headphones and a 3.5mm jack for a microphone. On the left side, the case is fitted with tempered glass, so that the components are clearly visible. The cabinet is available from 150 euros.
For those looking for a matching water cooler, be quiet has the Pure Loop 2 FX. The aio water cooler is equipped with two Light Wings PWM fans. According to the manufacturer, the biggest improvement over the previous model is the pump, which is now adjustable. The research assistant cooler is also equipped with RGB lighting. The aio cooler starts at 130 euros for the version with a 240mm radiator. The variants with a 280mm and 360mm radiator cost 140 and 155 euros respectively.
Finally, the manufacturer also announces an air cooler. It concerns the Pure Rock 2 FX. This is equipped with 120mm Light Wings PWM fans. We also find the RGB lighting again. The suggested retail price for the air cooler is 53 euros.
