Be quiet announces a new version of its Pure Rock Slim processor cooler. The successor is slightly higher than its predecessor and, according to the manufacturer, cools slightly better. be quiet also presents two heatsinks for SSDs.

According to the manufacturer, the be quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 has dimensions of 82x97x135mm and weighs 385 grams. This makes the new version one centimeter higher than the predecessor, which has dimensions of 82x97x125mm and a weight of 358 grams. According to be quiet, the new air cooler has a cooling capacity of 130W. With the predecessor that was 120W.

Be quiet includes a 92mm PWM fan. That’s a Pure Wings 2 model. The cooling block has three heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The cooler is suitable for AMD and Intel systems and, according to the manufacturer, the mounting for AMD systems has been improved with the new model. The cooler is for sale from March 23 for a suggested retail price of 25.90 euros.

In April, be quiet will release two SSD coolers: the MC1 and MC1 Pro. The former is a heatsink for M.2-2280 SSDs and the Pro version adds a heatpipe. These SSD coolers cost 12.90 and 16.90 euros respectively.
