Bayonetta 3 will be released for Nintendo Switch on October 28
Platinum Games reports that Bayonetta 3 will be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 28. It was already known that the game would be released this year, but the developer had not yet mentioned a date.
In the trailer published on Wednesday show Platinum Games more of the gameplay and story of Bayonetta 3. This time, the witch faces a new kind of enemy: the Homunculi. They are not made by angels or demons, but by humans. The trailer also shows a new playable character called Viola, a young witch who fights monsters with a sword.
Something else that is new is the so-called Naive Angel mode. This causes Bayonetta appears less naked or keeps her clothes on. Bayonetta dresses in her own hair, which is the source of her powers. The moment she makes a demanding attack, the ‘clothes’ disappear from her body and she becomes almost naked. So the new mode makes Bayonetta cover up more.
For now, Bayonetta 3 is only coming to the Nintendo Switch. Since Wednesday it is possible to reserve the game. The first Bayonetta game was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and then for the Wii U. This game was later also released as a remaster for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Bayonetta 2 is only available on Wii U and Switch.
