Bayonetta 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022

Developer PlatinumGames has shown new images of Bayonetta 3 and Nintendo has announced that the action game will be released for Nintendo Switch in 2022. It is not yet known when the game will be released. The game was announced in 2017.

The nearly four minute trailer shows a lot of action and ‘preliminary gameplay’. The video shows that Bayonetta can take control of demons with a Demon Masquerade ability to engage in large-scale battles. It looks like the developer is using a new voice actor for main character Bayonetta.

Since its announcement in 2017, Bayonetta 3 has been quiet for a long time. PlatinumGames has repeatedly announced that the game was still in development, but new details or images have been a long time coming. It is not yet clear when the game will be released in 2022.

For now, Bayonetta 3 is only coming to the Nintendo Switch. The first Bayonetta game was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and then for the Wii U. This game later appeared as a remaster for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Bayonetta 2 is only available on Wii U and Switch.
