Battlefield 1 gets 4k resolution update on Xbox One X
Dice has announced on Twitter that the shooter Battlefield 1 released in October 2016 will soon receive an update that will add support for 4k resolutions. This specifically responds to the capabilities of the Xbox One X console.
Dice has not yet revealed many details about the so-called Summer Update; Tuesday evening, the company will provide more information about the new update. For example, it is not yet clear what the update contains exactly and when the release is, but the developer has already announced that 4k support will be available for the Xbox One X.
The update is likely to be released sometime in the coming weeks. This follows the XBox One X update for Battlefield 1 about eight months after the release of Microsoft’s latest Xbox console. It is expected that after the update it will be possible to set a 4k resolution, although this will probably be accompanied by the dynamic resolution scaling, so that the fps can largely be kept at 60.
