Bandai Namco Releases God Eater 3 on February 8, 2019
The Japanese game company Bandiai Namco has announced that the title God Eater 3 will be released next year on February 8 for PC and PlayStation 4. God Eater 2: Rage Burst already came to Europe two years ago.
Bandai Namco has also released a new trailer for God Eater 3, which shows some of the game’s anime characters battling massive monsters in flashy fashion, dubbed Aragami. In God Eater 3, the world is threatened by these monsters. It is the player’s task to save the world, for which God Arcs are available, among other things. These are biological weapons with which the Aragami can be defeated.
The games in the God Eater series are action RPGs in which the player takes on the role of a ‘God Eater’. As God Eater, the player is able to defeat a variety of monsters that threaten the world. The games are somewhat similar to the Monster Hunter series.
The God Eater series has been out in Japan since 2010 and God Eater: Burst was released on PSP in Europe in 2011. Then in 2016, God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst also came to Europe; these titles then came out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and the PC.
