Baldur’s Gate III dev recommends players to delete early access files
Developer Larian Studios recommends that players who played Baldur’s Gate III in early access delete save files and mods and uninstall the entire game. The game takes up approximately 122GB and preloading is not possible for the August 3 release.
According to Larian Studios deleting the game and its early access save files is necessary to avoid file conflicts on the official release. Mods must also be removed beforehand. On Steam, the developer has a manual posted for players who want to prepare for the release of Baldur’s Gate III. In addition to removing save files, early access and mods, the studio recommends only installing the game on an SSD.
