Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance gets PC port after 20 years
The hack ‘n slash game Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance gets a port for the PC. The game was released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The PC port must get online co-op via Steam’s Remote Play, among other things.
The PC port of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance will be released this year, developer Black Isle Studios reports . The presence of online co-op does not seem entirely certain yet: the developer reports ‘hoping’ to add it using Steam’s Remote Play.
Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is an action RPG and co-op hack ‘n slash game set in the Forgotten Realms and released 20 years ago for PlayStation 2 and Xbox and then also ported to GameCube and Game Boy. Advance got. A re-release of the game was released last week for the PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Xbox One and Xbox One X consoles.
These contain graphically polished images, with display at up to 4k resolutions. A version for the Nintendo Switch ran into unspecified unexpected issues and will be released later.
