Athom makes beta of Homey Web App available

Athom has released a public beta version of Homey Web App. The web interface is intended for use on large screens. Later, the existing web apps for Flows, Insights and HomeyScript will also receive integration with the Homey Web App.

The web interface makes it possible to operate the equipment connected to Homey-smarthomehub from any device with a browser. Users can access the web app via my.homey.app , by logging in there with their account. According to the makers, the web app is intended for large screens, in addition to operation with a mobile app or voice assistant. At the announcement Athom emphasizes that it is a beta and that it is not yet bug free. The makers make an appeal to report errors via the Feedback button.

Homey Web App should eventually become the primary way to communicate with Homey hardware from desktops. The web interface also has integration with the existing web apps for Flow and Insights, integration with HomeyScript will follow later. The web app also does not yet contain all functions, but they will be available later. For example, it concerns Logic, adding new appliances and Homey Energy.
