Asus is set to release a new Zenfone and a new gaming phone in the Republic of Gamers line this summer. Details about the devices are almost unknown.

According to the Taiwanese business newspaper Commercial Times, Asus will release two new flagship phones this year. Asustek CEO Xu Xianyue is said to have said that in discussions of the quarterly figures. There have not been many rumors or statements about the phone so far. Asus would like to release the phones ‘before the end of the second quarter’, or at the beginning of the third quarter.

It would be the Zenfone 7 and the ROG Phone III. Both are successors to the company’s two most recent phones. Although nothing was known about the phones until now, rumors surfaced earlier this month that a new Republic of Gamers phone would be coming. Among other things, a WiFi certification was found. Qualcomm previously published a list of phones that will receive the Snapdragon 865 CPU, which featured the Zenfone 7 and ROG Phone III.

Details about the phones are not yet known. However, according to the Commercial Times, the company expects a lot from the ROG Phone III. Asus would expect its sales to grow by 30 to 50 percent over the ROG Phone II.
