Asus unveiled an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti video card with an all-in-one water cooler at CES. The ROG Matrix video card, including the pump and radiator, takes up three slots and can therefore still be placed in relatively modest housings.

According to Asus, the card in the Matrix series of high-end products does its job cooler and quieter than air-cooled cards, without taking up more space. The manufacturer calls the cooling Infinity Loop and has designed an extra large heat spreader for it, which covers the GPU and the video memory.

In addition, Asus had to reduce the size of the pump so that it fit into the housing. Three fans are also present, which supply cool air and cool the VRMs. The fans only start up when the GPU temperature exceeds 55 degrees Celsius, to ensure quiet operation during regular use.

The cooling and binning enable the GPU to run at a Boost core clock of 1815MHz in OC mode and 1800MHz in Gaming mode. With the regular RTX 2080 Ti that is 1545MHz, or 1635MHz with the Founders Edition.

The ROG Matrix RTX 2080 Ti should hit the market later in the first quarter of 2019, at an as-yet-unknown price.
