Asus releases Zenfone Max M2 phones with large batteries in the Benelux
Asus is going to release its budget phones in the Zenfone Max M2 series in the Benelux. The Zenfone Max (M2) with 64GB storage is already available, the slightly cheaper variant with 32GB of storage should follow soon.
Asus announced the Zenfone Max (M2) phones at the end of last year as a successor to the Zenfone Max (M1) models from early 2018. The Zenfone Max (M2) with 4GB memory and 32GB storage will cost 199 euros and will be available at various retailers. The variant with 64GB storage is already on sale and is only available in Asus’ own webshop. The Zenfone Max Pro (M2) with 6GB memory and 64GB storage should yield 299 euros.
The Zenfone Max (M2) is a device with a 6.26 “LCD of about 98 square centimeters and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 soc. The phone with a housing of 158.4×76.3×7.7mm has a 4000mAh battery. The Pro version has the same screen, but with a smaller notch. The bezels are also slightly smaller, making the device slightly more compact. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh. Asus also released the Zenfone Max (M1) in the Benelux last year.
