Asus releases ZenBook 3 in Benelux from 1399 euros
Asus has released its ZenBook 3 in the Benelux. There are two configurations for sale, both with an Intel processor of the Kaby Lake generation and 8GB of RAM. A third model will follow in December with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD.
The cheapest model, which has a suggested retail price of 1399 euros, is equipped with a Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Asus also offers a variant in the Benelux with a suggested retail price of 1699 euros, which contains a Core i7-7500U processor and a 512GB PCIe SSD. The more expensive model also has 8GB of RAM. A third version will be released in December, with a 1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB RAM. It is not yet known what the suggested retail price of that model will be.
The ZenBook 3, known by type number UX390UA, is an 11.9mm thin laptop, weighing 910 grams. The glossy 12.5″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and uses an IPS panel. Like Apple’s MacBook, the ZenBook 3 has only one USB-C port, which is also used to charge the laptop. Asus supplies a mini dock with a USB-C, USB-A and HDMI connection.
