Asus releases Chromebook Flip C436 with Comet Lake U processors
Asus releases a new Chromebook Flip that runs on a tenth-generation Intel processor. The manufacturer supplies the Flip C436 with a Core i7 CPU and a maximum of 16GB of RAM.
Asus supplies configurations of the laptop with the Core i3-10110U, i5-10210U and i7-10510U. There is also 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and it comes with a 512GB m2 SSD. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The C436 has a 42Wh battery that, according to Asus, should last 12 hours.
The Asus Chromebook Flip C436 has a magnesium body and a 13″ touchscreen with thin edges, what Asus calls NanoEdge. That screen has a 1920×1080 resolution, which can display one hundred percent of the sRGB color space. The bezels are 4.9 millimeters The laptop is available in white and silver.The C436 weighs 1.22 kilograms and measures 319x205x13mm.
The Chromebook can be used with universal styluses due to the support of USI. There is a fingerprint scanner on the laptop, and the sound comes from four speakers around the device. The C436 has two USB 3.2 type-c connections and a micro-SD slot. The device will be released in the first quarter of 2020. Prices of the device are not yet known.
